Maluaka Beach - Inquire here South
Maluaka beach in Kihei has a large open green grassy lawn
perfect for larger wedding groups. There is a circle area
surrounded by bushes, creating a private space for wedding
parties overlooking the bright turquoise blue water and the
West Maui Mountains. There are many nice sandy beach areas
and a scenic cliff overlooking the ocean.
North

Kihei Maui, the views from all directions are spectacular.
There is a long sandy beach with a large tree for shade. Neighboring
islands provide a beautiful background for your photography.
This is a great location for sunset ceremonies.
Makena
Cove - Inquire here This small hidden
cove is a fabulous remote area for a small wedding party under
20. The morning sun turns the ocean to a beautiful aqua-blue.
The coastline is very rocky but there is also a nice sandy
area. There are beautiful tropical flowers growing over the
stone wall behind the lagoon area which makes a bright and
colorful background for your photography. It is a favorite
spot for sunset weddings. We recommend an early morning wedding
as this is the most popular wedding spot on Maui.
Makena
Surf - Inquire here This is a beautiful
remote area tucked away from the main road in Makena City.
The waves come crashing over the rocks and you can hear the
surf while walking down the long, romantic, hibiscus-lined
pathway to the ocean front. Early morning photography would
best capture the beautiful aqua-colored water.
Fleming
Beach - Inquire here This is a long,
wide sandy beach surrounded by ironwood trees to provide wonderful
shade. Wedding receptions are often held at the grassy green
park where the ocean fronts. The ocean is usually calm with
clear deep turquoise water. There is plenty of public parking
adjacent to the park.
The
Circle - Inquire here A green grassy area
surrounded by bushes that creates a private area overlooking
the ocean near South Maluaka Beach. The West Maui Mountains
are visible in the background. There is also a sandy beach
and very open grassy area suitable for bigger wedding parties.
This is a very popular wedding site and in peak season wedding
parties actually wait in line to use this semi-private area
for their ceremonies.
Keawalai
Church - Inquire here This quaint oceanfront
church was built in the 1900's and is located in the city
Makena near North Maluaka Beach. The views are fabulous, overlooking
Molokini Crater and the island of Koho'olawe.
A photographer's park permit fee of $20 may apply to some locations.
Restrictions may apply to setups on some public beaches.
